Garrison Steakhouse in Germany

"An excellent place for a GOOD steak, right across the road from Altona station. The steak is cooked superbly, to your liking, with a delicious side salad, plus fries or baked potato. The burgers are also excellent. Sauce, ketchup and mayo is served at your request, without extra charge. Everything here is immaculate, right down to the tables, seating, cutlery and real cloth napkins. The decor has been lovingly designed, so you really feel like you've stepped into an old Western Saloon Bar. Fully stocked bar, including cocktails also available, but no beer on tap. Staff are incredibly friendly, attentive and capable, without hovering. Some of the best service I've experienced in Germany in 12 years! There is also a meat counter, as they also act as a butcher. The meat selection is excellent. Bravo Saloon Team - we will be back and after this review, we hope there's still a table available"

"The place is really interesting with an american style steakhouse interior. The food was good, But for us not the type of restaurant that would be a regular in the future. We were here not for the steak, if you're here for the steak, I'm pretty sure it would be delicious. The saloon burger was phenomenal. They did not use a grounded up beef but instead a sliced up steak! And the meat was really tender and juicy. But the bun is pretty dry, I hope they use something more soft for the bun, or maybe it was dried from the air. We ordered a grill platter from the lunch menu as well, the portion was depressing as seen on the picture. Don't order this if you want something that looks good, but for the seemed small size, we are pretty much full. The meat was cook nicely tho, juicy and flavorful. The lemonades are also good, but we are not sure if this was store bought or made in house. Because the viscosity of the drinks seems too constant like something that was made from a factory. overall a 4/5 star."

"Group of 10 of us had dinner here and it was fantastic. Danish was the best host. He recommended a lot of food for our group, we listened and we were all delighted. Highly recommend for a great fun dinner. Money well spent"

"I’m from the US, so I honestly didn’t expect to find steaks like this in Germany — but wow, I was wrong. The steak was super juicy, full of flavor, and cooked just right. Great vibe, friendly staff. I’d 100% recommend this place!"

"We shared the Chateaubriand Filet and it did not disappoint. I am not a regular visitor at steakhouses and this was more of a spontaneous visit but I really enjoyed the dinner. The sides dishes were surprisingly also very good and they offered a good variety of additional sauces if needed. If there is one thing I think can be improved it would be the selection of open red vines. They offer a variety of bottles however only 2 for glasses."

"This was taken May 20,2023. Overall dining experience ist Top! I just didnt like the taste of the ribs but my son he likes the ribs. Pricey but good quality steaks . The place is clean and instaworthy. My kids love the burgers and oh specially the desserts My review was based on the date i dined in the resto."

"A friend of mine casually mentioned that he likes that place after we had already entered another restaurant nearby and I told him why not go there instead? He recommended the "Hot Cheesesteak" sandwich and boy oh boy he was right. The bread was fresh, the cheddar sauce was amazing and the jalapeños made it fire , the meat was cooked nicely, a bit more rare to my liking but the taste was spot-on. I loved the music and the vibes, Jazz music was playing the entire time and it was a great experience overall."
